Fuel Cells

Do you have some great ideas to help make fuel cells a reality? This matching grant may be the opportunity you were looking for. The United States government wants innovative people to take advantage of 10 million dollars. The closing date of this grant is August 27, 2008, get your application in soon.

Biodiesel

Are you a university, college, or similar institution and love teaching about biodiesel? This grant may be for you. The United States Government is looking for two institutions to give almost one million dollars each to do just that. The application deadline is August 8, 2008.

Weatherizing Houses

Are you a state goverment? As the summer is in full force, it is time to start thinking about the winter. The colder it gets, the more dangerous it becomes for your citizens who do not have their houses weatherized. There is a program to help these most vulnerable citizens. The National Energy Technology Laboratory has a no matching grant for you.

Clean Coal

Are you geology, mining engineering, and other disciplines student and want to work more with coal? This grant may be great for you. If you want to travel and spend some time learning and developing some new coal ideas in Utah, then apply. The number of awards are limited to three at $100,000 each. The application process closes July 31.

Chinese Coordination

Are you a private business, foundation, non-governmental organization (NGO), faith-based organization, business and trade association, academic institution, civic group, city or state government agency and parastatal, regional and international organization, philanthropic organization, as well as financial entity, or advocacy group? This opportunity could be for you. The US Goverment is looking for orgarnization to work with Chinese counterparts in order to clean the environment or other advancements. This matching grant may be something to look into.

Energy Efficient

Are you a State Government? Want to improve your building to be more energy efficient, this matching grant may work for you.

Have you ever wanted the chance at 10 billion dollars? This is your lucky day. The United States Department of energy has made 10 billion dollars available. The money was made available in part through the loan guarantee authority. The catch, you must have a project that will improve or otherwise help the public in the renewable or clean energy field. If you have a project to submit, go for it.
