Black and Decker Energy Star Handheld Vacuum

The Black and Decker Energy Star Handheld Vacuum is just what its name sounds like. It is a heavy duty, easy to use and energy efficient vacuum that can go with you anywhere you want it to. This device does have many of the features you will be looking for in a handheld, and probably some extras. As you compare this to others, keep a few things in mind such as the amount of power behind it and how energy efficient it is. Unlike other products, this one is one you can count on for reliability, too.

There are several features of the Black and Decker that help it to stand out. First, it is cordless, which means it can go with you anywhere you need it to, including on stairs, into the car or anywhere else that a traditional vacuum cannot go. It also offers two-speed control and a ten position-pivoting nozzle. This really gives you a lot of flexibility when using the vacuum, which is unlike any other device on the market.

In addition to this, the Black and Decker also feature cyclonic action and an EZ Clean Wheel System. This is a unique device that allows the vacuum to remain at the highest suction possible. Other vacuums take in debris, dander, and dust, but instantly clog their filters with it, which prevents the device from continuously pulling up the same level of debris from the surface. As the filter clogs, the device loses its suction. This is not the case with this Black and Decker model, which is one of the reasons it does work so well.

The Black and Decker Energy Star Handheld Vacuum does have other features and benefits. For example, it is Energy Star approved. This agency helps to regulate the efficiency of appliances. Those that meet the agency's approval are known to be highly efficient in their use, as one of the best available. This Black and Decker does meet that goal. It also is easily stored since it literally folds in half to be tucked away. It features an easy to clean system so that you don't get dust and debris all over the place when emptying it. It also comes with a small tool used to get into crevices, a mount to allow it to mount on a wall charging base, and an upholstery brush.

There are few disadvantages to mention about the Black and Decker model. One of the downfalls of the device is that it does seem to run louder than other handheld products on the market. This is a small probably by any means, though. Some also mention that its larger size makes some tighter positions harder to get into.

When compared to other handheld vacuums on the market, perhaps the largest difference is in terms of suction power. Where as many smaller units just do not have the suction of their larger, conventional vacuum cleaners, this device does. It does have a strong motor to power through that. Another feature to keep in mind is the cost. The device is a bit more expensive than other handhelds at the low end; it is still affordable in terms of what it can do. You will save money, too, when you factor in the energy savings.

Overall, the Black and Decker Energy Star Handheld is a great investment for those looking for a reliable and strong vacuum that is easily used from place to place. The swivel ability, the efficiency, and the overall cost of this vacuum make it worth the investment.
