January 22, 2009 the United States House of Representatives modified and started preparing the spending plan to try and give the US economy a jump start.
The economic stimulus plan will include 54 billion dollars in Green energy spending. This money will cover every aspect of the energy field.
There will be a lot more clean energy government grants that will be available to consumers as well as local governments. There will be a lot of spending on infrastructure. This infrastructure spending will include a lot of improvement on power line strength. It will help speed up the ability for massive power produced by wind farms.
Based on what we know about the new president, this new spending plan should go into effect fairly soon. Expect to see a huge jump in energy investment and production the second half of 2009.
