Is Green Energy Seeing Green? The Green Energy Economy
Denver has recently heard good news about the green economy they are currently focusing on. There can be a feasible creation of two thousand five hundred jobs. This could increase the economy for Denver by almost three hundred and twenty-five million dollars. This clean energy sector will be open focused, driven towards both the business and civilian sectors, including non-profit organizations.
The United States Department of Agriculture has invested over one billion dollars into the green energy movement. This is going to increase the stability of the green energy economy by allowing researchers, designers and developers more financial freedom to not only improve green energy systems, but make them more efficiently, thus making them more affordable. More affordable green energy systems will lead to an increase in demand, thus increasing the stability of the green energy economy.
By helping small farms implement the usage of green energy, the government department has helped promote green energy. Word of mouth from farmers and other civilians who have received help and are now reaping the benefits of a more affordable, more sustainable energy source will increase the demand for green energy conversion systems, thus increasing the stability of the green energy economy.
The United Nations has stated that if a meager two percent of the global income is invested in the green energy sector, jobs could be created and the green economy could be positively stimulated. The cost of health care could potentially be significantly reduced due to a cleaner environment. Many new business sectors can easily be created specifically to deal with green energy conversion, usage and storage.
Germany has presented similar information, stating the investing in green energy can increase the gross domestic product by six percent, taking it up to eight hundred and forty-two billion dollars annually. Germany states that investing in green energy business sectors can create an additional six million jobs. While goals in Germany are at a twenty percent increase in research and development in the green energy sector, it is predicted that this number is not high enough to spur movement. A thirty percent increase goal, however, will not only increase research and development, it will move Germany one step closer to a more stable green economy.
In some areas, the government is taking green incentives to a new level, funding the implementation of green energy to civilians who would not normally be able to afford the up-front cost of building the conversion systems. The civilian is given a grant to fund the project, and once completed, the civilian can use the money gained from selling surplus energy back to the grid to repay the government grant. This extensive use of green energy is helping to move the economy towards the green light of the future.
