Renewable energy is a growing concern for most people for many different reasons. The price of oil, gasoline, natural gas and other non renewable energy sources are becoming more scarce and expensive. Another issue with many of the finite resources is that they come for unstable and hostile countries. For these reasons the United States and other countries have been developing and pushing for renewable resources to power their economies.
There are a lot of different kinds of clean energy, solar, wind, hydropower, geothermal, and biomass are just a few in the long line of growing areas. Each one of these energy sources has distinct advantages and detractions. A fresh and honest look at each one will be important if the world is to end its dependence on dirty energy.
