This battery uses a non breakable dual container and as a result, it will remain protected from rough handling and abuse. The repair of this battery is simple and less time consuming. Chances of short circuits from water, dirt and falling metals objects is zero, as the outer cover is moisture tight and protected from outside.

The biggest advantage of this new generation battery is that they are environment friendly and do not have any acid leakage. Each cell of the battery remains assembled in its own inner container which is retardant of high temperature and durable polypropylene with the inner cover heat bonded to the container. This eliminates the leakage of acid. The cells are then kept in a high density polyethylene outer container having a removable lid. Thus, if the outer container breaks, the battery can still be operated safely without the harmful effects of sulfuric acid.

Since the cells are double protected, its replacement is less frequent. There is an option provided where the individual cells can be bolted together. It helps the battery be repaired or assembled on location. In this battery, cell replacement is a very easy process and can be done knowing the basic skills of battery replacement.

The positive plates of this battery have double insulation. In the first layer, there is a thick woven glass mat and the plate and matting are sealed in a microporous, polyethylene envelope. Due to the envelope, the battery is protected from separator misalignment, cracked separators, treeing and shorting at the bottom or at the sides. There is more liquid space above the top of the cell, as there is no sediment chamber. As a result, you can put water after long intervals.

The Rezistox plate design uses very few but heavier members in the grid and they more produce more resistance to corrosion, thus increasing the life of the battery. Due to this non breakable dual container design, the life of these batteries can go up to 20 years, while that of a normal battery is about 12 years. There are 11 plates per cell and the company is providing a warranty of 10 years on the battery. The battery is priced at $1643.
