There have even been several prototypes of vehicles that run on biofuel. The one main prototype that most individuals are aware of is the farm tractor that was converted to run on corn oil. As these energy methods, engines and transportation methods become more accepted, they will be more widely accessible for the average consumer.

A major advancement in the green transportation movement is the expected construction of charging stations nation-wide in the United States. This will be another encouragement to consumers who wish to buy green transportation, but feel it will hinder their travel arrangements.
