Who Reaps Financial Rewards from Green Energy?

As the world attempts to shift away from the current dependency on carbon-based fossil fuels, there are clearly many who will reap financial rewards from using green energy. These range from the governments to the civilians. Cities, states, nations, and even the world can all reap financial rewards from the use of green energy. Of course, no benefit is greater than that of a cleaner world future.

As governments increase tax incentives and funding for green energy projects, they gain popularity from many civilians who are concerned about their neighborhoods, their safety and their wallets. For countries that run on democracy, these ruling leaders may find themselves voted in for a second term at office. Since many of these government officials are paid a fairly decent salary, this can be viewed as gaining a financial reward.

Civilians who meet the qualifications for tax incentives in their area may have their tax liability reduced drastically. These civilians can also reap financial rewards due to the fact that any surplus energy that is produced from green energy conversion processes can be bought back by utility companies at a relatively fair price.

Cities may be gaining financially from green energy in a number of ways. One way these cities may be reaping these rewards is by reducing their dependency on the conversion of carbon-based fuels into energy. They will reduce the cost of materials needed to create energy. They will reduce the cost of maintenance on large nuclear power plants. They will also reduce the cost of maintaining power lines that cover the city almost totally.

States can gain financial gain from the use of green energy by not having to produce surplus energy to send out to city grids in the event of a blackout. As more green energy conversion systems are built and implemented in society, there will not only be a stable level of energy produced, there will be an overabundance of energy. This surplus will be placed back in the grid, which can then be used in the even of a blackout as a sort of backup generator for entire cities, or even states if that becomes necessary.

Nations can benefit financially from the use of green energy because of the cost of production of green energy conversion systems such as solar panels or wind turbines. As the demand for these systems increase, the job losses in the old-fashioned nuclear energy industry can be offset by the need for more researchers, designers and manufacturers of green energy systems. This can financially help the nation's economy stay stable by keeping the cash flow moving steadily. If enough of a demand is created, there may be an increase in job availabilities in some areas, which could increase the amount of cash flow generated.

The world can benefit monetarily by simple commerce rules. As each country increases job placements, the economy will remain stable or grow steadily. As this occurs, the global economy is more than likely to stabilize from country to country, making the exchange rate more even, which will increase the ability of not only civilians but also governments to engage in global commerce.
