I personally think that the idea of using a more purified coal over oil is very interesting. I think this because while the purified coal will be more efficiently and environmentally....not to mention cheap, it will have to wait for a while. This is due to the new technology that will have to be built and installed for this solution to work. I do agree that after these technologies are made then the U.S. should definitely switch the focus from oil to purified coal. With all of the capital that it could raise, it could possibly keep us from having another depression.
