RE-FLECT RC is an aluminum colored, water-based, Low VOC (Under 150 grlt),1 part, low emissivity (low-e) coating. When applied to building materials such as plywood, OSB, plasterboard, metal, and concrete RE-FLECT RC lowers their surface emissivity, thereby blocking over 75% of the radiant heat trying to enter the home. It is classified by ASTM as an Interior Radiation Control Coating (IRCC).
Basic Use: RE-FLECT RC is designed to be applied to the underside of the attic deck on the underside of a roof to significantly reduce the amount of radiant heat entering the structure, thereby reducing cooling requirements.
