The use of green products for cleaning promotes a healthier environment for people and animals. Many commercial cleaners contain ingredients which can be toxic to children and pets such as ammonia and chlorine bleach. These substances are found in many products such as glass cleaner, multipurpose cleaners and laundry aids. While they do a great job of getting rid of dirt and grime, they can cause toxic fumes when used with other cleaners and may cause severe burns if it comes in contact with skin or eyes.
Adding green technology to your home when building or renovating can not only help the environment but can also help you save money. Some technology such as solar panels may seem like a large investment at first but in the long run you will be saving a lot of money.

A valuable part of this awareness is the understanding of what green energy is and why it is so important to the environment.
Add a commentChildren are the future. They are tomorrow’s leaders, scientists, and educators. They have the potential to be, do, or accomplish anything. It would be a terrible waste to not inform our children about the dangers of old energy sources and the promise of new, cleaner ones. It is important, however, to educate our kids in a way that will leave a lasting, positive impression.
